Handling Bulk Food Ingredients
For over 25 years the APS Grupa team has been processing and repackaging bulk ingredients that are used in a variety of food, pharmaceutical and animal nutrition products. We process commodity items, like starch and dextrose, and specialty products ranging from prebiotics to emerging plant-based goods.
Our facility can accept any type of rail car, bulk tanker, container, or pre-packaged material. Post processing, most products are shipped out in a packaged format. We also can load out into rail or bulk tanker.
Our processes include blending, milling, reprocessing, packaging, and bulk transfer. One example may be blending multiple ingredients, milling the blend to a uniform particle size and solubility specification, and packaging into bag-in-box. A second example may be transferring an imported ingredient from bag to bulk truck for delivery. We can customize our processes to accommodate your exact requirements.
Warehousing service is available for any size or type of order.

Located in the hub of the Midwest ingredient market, APS’s 225,000 SF former-General Mills plant offers tremendous infrastructure and operating capacity. Located on 20 acres, our facility includes a deep-water barge slip, interior rail car and bulk truck transfer, and 3,000,000 pounds of dry-bulk storage in our interior silo facility. APS’s processing work centers are built to the highest standards to ensure quality and optimal efficiency.
